70 windows - new website launched

Using the old former police station at the Crescent in Salford UK- images depicting Salford, it's history and it's discourse through time will be displayed on the windows of the real and virtual building. 70 windows is a project from the University of Salford working with the local community to produce photographs of Salford's rich history.

The virtual building in Second Life serves as a way for people to visit the installation from anywhere in the world and to try out and add new pictures and serve as a communication space.

The photographs for the project have been gathered from hundreds of submissions from the local community in Salford and they can be seen on the new website, which can be visited at: http://70windows.edinteractive.co.uk/
